Chris Allix founded Phoenix Yachting Solutions PTE Ltd (PYS) in November 2022 in Singapore.
He started his career in London in 1971 as a Trust Officer. In 1980, Chris relocated to the Cayman Islands with a leading Trust Corporation. In 1984, he founded Dominion Marine Corporate Services Limited in the Isle of Man.
Dominion became one of the principal corporate service providers to the yachting industry. In September 2022, Chris sold the business through a management buyout. He acquired two subsidiaries, now named Liberty Marine in Monaco and Liberty Marine in Cyprus under the management buyout agreement.
During the last 10 years the cost of providing corporate services to the yachting industry has increased substantially. Chris has been looking into how to reduce these costs and following the sale of Dominion believes he has achieved this through PYS.
Chris Allix was part of the foundation team working with Isle of Man Government and representatives of the yachting industry, who set up the original commercial yacht code in the Isle of Man. Currently, fees for yachting services have increased substantially. We believe these fees can be reduced.
